We do everything to make coming to our club fun, cozy and rewarding.
Our team
MTB 6000 is an independent association under DGI & DCU.
The social is at the center when we roll out in the woods and on the paths around Kolding. If you like humor, robber stories and socializing, while also getting fresh air and exercise, then MTB 6000 is just the thing for you.
Whether you are in very good or really bad shape, there is room for you.
We always run in several teams, so there is ALWAYS a team for your level. Both before and after our MTB trip, we have the opportunity to come to the cafeteria for socializing and enjoyment.
Come as you are. You don't need an expensive bike, smart cycling clothes or click shoes. The only thing that matters is that you come. If you are in any doubt, write or call.
In the FB group, group members can share information about planned and completed trips. We run Monday & Wednesday at 6pm and Saturday at 10am - see the calendar.
We ALWAYS drive from the Parkhallen at Fynsvej 49, in Kolding.
Remember that a bicycle helmet is mandatory in order to participate.
General information for all teams:
Coziness, community and good club spirit are the focal point.
Each team has a team captain who plans the trip and leads the way, as well as a rearguard who ensures that everyone is on board. We wait for each other and help each other.

For those who are new and want to start riding MTB

On Saturday, we also have extra time to receive you and make sure that you get the best possible start.
We even have loaner bikes for you to try out, so all you need to bring is an approved bike helmet.

This team is for you as the last time you sat on a bike was when you rode it from the bike shop to the car. EVERYONE can participate here.
Typically held after the intro meeting.
Beginner technique training / exercises are offered, incl. lots of advice and guidance
We typically find a place where we can drive laps, you can decide for yourself how many.
Level: Easy to medium advanced:
Driving is primarily done on wide trails with few climbs and technical skills. Technical training / exercises are offered
over the year.
Trips of anything between 5 – 10 Km, relatively few meters of altitude.
Beginning technique training/exercises. Short laps in the forest where we can drive laps. You decide entirely yourself how many.
We take all the breaks that are needed.
Level: Intermediate and advanced:
A mixture of wide paths, climbs and easy technical passages are ridden.
Technique training/exercises, but basic technical skills are required.
Trips of 15 – 25 km per trip, starting point in the participants.
Breaks are approx. 2 of, with a short duration per trip.
Women on MTB
- Only for women
- Women on MTB ride on Wednesday and Saturday. Check the calendar for when.
- There is a mix of touring and XC, trails, forest roads, and some asphalt
- Calm pace, so we can enjoy the independence and nature
- We always help each other and leave no one behind.
- Gathered out, gathered home again.
Level: Beginners and unpracticed.
This team is for you
like the last time you sat on a bike was when you drove from the bike shop to
the car.
EVERYONE can participate here.
Short trips of between 5
– 10 km per Trip based on the participants. It is driven exclusively on wide roads
paths, calm pace and virtually no or limited short climbs.
There are plenty of breaks along the way.
Beginners are offered
technique training / exercises, incl. lots of advice and guidance.
Level: Easy to medium advanced:
Driving is primarily done on wide trails with few climbs and technical skills. Technical training / exercises are offered
over the year.
Trips of anything between 5 – 10 Km, relatively few meters of altitude. The tour will be adapted according to the participants' schedule.
Beginning technique training/exercises. Short laps in the forest where we can drive laps. You decide entirely yourself how many.
We take all the breaks that are needed.

Team ladies & gents
- Here we drive ladies and gentlemen.
- XC står for cross-contry, her er det typisk mindre teknik og mere kilometer på programmet.

- Here there is a bit of speed, a good pace and a good pulse.
- We always help each other and leave no one behind.

Level: Easy to medium advanced:
Driving is primarily done on wide trails with few climbs and little technique.
We adapt the tours according to the number of people present and the type of day and divide them into teams.
Trips of anything between 5 – 40 Km, relatively few meters of altitude.
Beginning technique training/exercises. Short laps in the forest where we can drive laps. You decide entirely yourself how many.
We take all the breaks that are needed.
Level: Medium advanced and up.
We run Wednesday and Saturday. Check the calendar for when.
There is a mix of touring and XC, trails, forest roads, and some asphalt
reasonable, pace, and challenges and climbs.
We always help each other and leave no one behind.
Gathered out, gathered home again.
Longer trips with the possibility of more and/or demanding climbs, not demanding trails. It is distance and speed that count.
Typical trip length is approx. of team and daily form between 25 – 38 km per trip and no breaks.
A lot of altitude, fast pace and requirements for good physical condition.
Here we geek out on tracks and train technique.
Level: All with basic skills in MTB
A team that we make on the day, if there are several who want to drive only singletrack tracks.
Here we "nerd" some passages and / or parts of the track, or simply drive through the track from start to finish.
Here we develop our competences and skills in running tracks. All in a pressure environment where you can always choose on and off.
Technical training and exercises in track driving are offered if desired.
Although we ride men on MTB and women on MTB, we also ride together from time to time. Among other things. our Monday trips are like a mix for the sake of coziness.
